Spider-Man on Pogo Stilts

Reason #134 why people think California is strange:

Today while walking to the ATM (for going out money) I saw Spider-Man (in his red and blue long-johns) bouncing around on the steps of the state capital on pogo stilts. He was surrounded by oodles of spidey-fans.

And yet I found myself laughing. Not just because Sacramento is now protected by the web slinger. Not just because the knee high spidey-fans loved him. But because this spidey-fan actually wants to live in a world where crime fighters feel free to run around and save the world in their long-johns.
