There is nothing sexy about high heels!

Why do women do it? Why do they squeeze their bodies into clothing that is difficult to move in? To feel pretty? To look pretty? Or just to drive people like me insane?

Bronco is usually pretty level headed and practical. Now her sense of fashion runs completely counter to mine. I believe in the mono-color dress code, she thinks rainbows are so cool everybody should sport every color every day of the year. About the only fashion choice we agree on is purple. Purple is good.

Anyway, this morning she must have tripped about half a dozen times and only because she was wearing heels. I asked her if she could run in them, knowing full well that the answer was no.

Bronco is no fool. If she needed to run, she'd dump the shoes in a minute. But they looked incredibly uncomfortable, and combined with a skirt that would barely allow her legs to move, she was forced to take lots of baby steps.

So again, why do women dress this way? I've yet to see any woman approach the level of sex appeal that a girl dressed in cut-off BDUs, combat boots, and a baby-tee has. If you're looking for refined types, then just slap dress slacks and a suit jacket on a woman and she's sexy, classy, and capable of crossing a street without falling down.
