2002-02-24 - 5:23 p.m. Lego Scans Though I'm sick and stressing about my presentation on Wednesday, last night I really just wanted to sit down and build a LEGO town. I still have the modest sets from when I was a kid, but I've supplemented them in the past year with ebay purchases. Some of the sets come with instructions, others don't. That never was a problem, because an online site called brichshelf had scans of the instructions for the sets I was missing. Last night I found out that brickshelf no longer has those images online. *grhhhh* More On Pits As Depths pointed out, people want to watch shows and not be stomped on. I've never been in a pit, but I like how she pointed out that she likes to be in the stands to avoid the pit. Friday's pit was in a dive of a venue in Oakland. There is a very tiny dance floor, and modest stage. But it was fine, as it was one of the group's first performances. Unfortunately there was not enough space for a pit and for people to watch the show without being near the stage without getting bumped into. However, there were seats in the back and a space off to the side where I stood acting as a buffer between the people wanting to just watch the show and those wanting to have fun.
