It Is Hard to Say Goodbye

Lately I�ve just not been super motivated at work. Perhaps it is because the chances of me finally getting a job in the Bay Area itself are greater. But a larger issue still is looming over me too.

Why can�t some people just totally disappear? And worse, why do others leave when you want them to stick around?

Last night I drove down to the Bay Area to send Cricket off to Europe (the Netherlands) again (technically she is spending a few more days in Southern CA). I�ve made no secret that I want her to live out here. But it still makes it hard every time I send her off on an airplane.

On the plus side I�ll be going to visit her soon. I�ll also be going to France, Denmark, and Germany while out there. The trip to Germany is part of the wave-gotik-treffen festival (gothic, experimental, and industrial show).

I plan to buy an mp3 player that I can use while jogging in the next week or two. I want to be in top form while in Europe. It is silly, but I�d like to be able to sleep very little and bounce around the rest of the time.
